Le Rayon Vert is a film by the incomparable Éric Rohmer, the master of languid and aloof films that succinctly captures the human condition. The Green Ray follows Delphine, a young woman who is restless and anxious to spend the summer holidays alone. We watch Delphine as she drifts from one vacation plan to another, longing to find and feel the intangible something.
